We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your trust and cooperation. Thanks to your support, the introduction of the brand new Dexxo Compact io in 600N and 750N last year was a success. We've heard your voices and feedback, expressing that the market would appreciate a 1000N version to provide entry-level connected Garage Door Openers for doors up to 15 m².

 

We are excited to announce that the Dexxo Compact io family is growing, and we are introducing the Dexxo Compact 1000 io!

 

Key features of the Dexxo Compact 1000 io include:

 

  • Efficient motorization for sectional, up & over, and sliding garage doors up to 15 m², backed by a 5-year warranty.
  • Specially designed for manufacturers.
  • Easy and intuitive installation: a Plug and Play motor with setup adaptable to the site configuration.
  • Seamless connectivity to the Somfy ecosystem, making it easy to install, set up, and maintain.

 

At the same time, we would like to underline our commitment and dedication to developing the best motorization solutions focused on setting new standards. We aim to build flourishing partnerships with garage door manufacturers while easing the workload of installers and enhancing the experience of end users.

 

To this end, we have decided to allocate all our resources toward the future-proof radio protocol io-homecontrol, which will become the standard in access motorization. The well-known mono-directional radio protocol RTS (Radio Technology Somfy) has done its job by allowing seamless control of hundreds of thousands of motors. However, it is now time for the new era of bi-directional communication to become the standard!

 

As part of this transition, we will be stopping the manufacturing of the following products:

 

  • Dexxo Compact RTS
  • Dexxo Optimor RTS
  • Dexxo PRO RTS
